Porous Purging Plug
Around 2016, as the proportion of secondary refining increased, the demands for the permeability and refining efficiency of purging plugs grew higher. In response, our company developed the porous purging plug. The porous purging plug primarily uses <1mm corundum particles as aggregates, with a loose packing method that creates continuous gas pores throughout the plug, ensuring that the gas flow path remains clear and preventing steel infiltration and clogging. This design results in a high blowing efficiency, effectively avoiding steel entrapment within the gas channels. Additionally, because the gas is channeled through the interconnected pores, the bubbles released are smaller, which enhances the ability to remove impurity, thus improving the yield rate of steel products.
