Shroud


The shroud connects the ladle to the tundish, transferring molten steel from the ladle to the tundish while preventing air ingress, which reduces secondary oxidation and increases nitrogen in the steel, enabling protective casting and reducing splashing. 
Our company’s shrouds offer excellent sealing property and high stable flexural strength. Based on different casting requirements, we provide shrouds made from aluminum-carbon, magnesium-carbon, and zirconium-carbon materials, all with outstanding thermal shock resistance, erosion resistance, and slag corrosion resistance.
