Submerged Entry Nozzle (SEN)


The submerged entry nozzle connects the tundish to the crystallizer, delivering molten steel from the tundish to the crystallizer while providing protection during casting, preventing secondary oxidation of the steel, and optimizing the flow and temperature distribution in the crystallizer.
Our company’s submerged entry nozzles feature excellent thermal shock stability, resistance to crystallizer flux erosion, and resistance to steel erosion. We offer tailored designs for outlet structures, as well as flow and temperature field distribution simulations, to meet specific customer needs.
